From functional to unforgettable

When Coastal Development Group first reached out, their website wasn’t broken—it just wasn’t felt.

But it didn’t reflect the caliber of homes they build.

And more importantly—it didn’t create an emotional connection with the people they were trying to reach.

The Challenge

  • Navigation lacked clarity (one long, continuous scroll)

  • The overall presentation didn’t match the quality of their work

They referenced a project I had completed for Rockhill Construction Group—which immediately told me we were aligned on direction.

Instead of starting from scratch, I approached this as a strategic transformation:

  • Reorganized the site into clear, intuitive navigation

  • Reduced and refined copy for stronger impact

  • Elevated visual presentation to match luxury-level builds

  • Introduced environmental staging and enhanced imagery

  • Built on Squarespace for long-term ease and flexibility

The goal wasn’t just to “clean it up.”

It was to make the site feel like their homes feel.
