Design360 has collaborated closely with the town of Seaside and The Seaside Style on numerous projects,
including the transformation of the open-air market “Perspicacity” into “Cabana”."Perspicacity" was the original name of a beachfront open-air market in Seaside, Florida, that was rebranded as "Cabana by The Seaside Style" in 2018 after a major renovation and facelift in 2022.
While the name changed, the concept of an open-air market with clothing and accessories, curated for beachside living, remains.
From Perspicacity to Cabana
Original Concept: For over 34 years, Perspicacity operated as an open-air market on the beachside in Seaside, Florida.
Name Change: In 2018, the store was rebranded as Cabana by The Seaside Style.
Renovation & Re-launch: In June 2022, the store underwent a significant renovation to create a more luxurious and elevated shopping experience, a process that helped the transformation into the modern-day Cabana by The Seaside Style.
What is Cabana?
Location: Cabana is the first retail store in Seaside, Florida, and occupies a beachfront location.
Offerings: The store offers flowy kaftans, linen pieces, and other fashion items suitable for a day at the beach.
Style: It blends the style of "Old Hollywood Glamour" with "Palm Beach Chic," embodying a sophisticated yet breezy beach aesthetic.
Our selection of clothing, accessories and shoes were curated with Cabana living in mind.
Keri led the creative direction, developing a cohesive visual identity that includes the logo, magazine advertisements, shopping tags, bags, and store signage. This comprehensive branding effort ensures a unified and engaging shopping experience for visitors, seamlessly integrating Cabana into the vibrant fabric of Seaside’s retail landscape.
